Why Contemplation? Because manual photography calms me down. It helps me to decelerate and to focus on a topic, my subject, the scene in front of the camera, nothing else than my scene and photo matter in these moments.
Why Light? Because the etymology of the word photography goes back to the ancient Greek language:
Therefore, photography means writing with light, drawing with light, painting with light, etc.
Light is the essence of our workflow in photography. We set our parameters on the camera and on the lens according to the light we have in the scene in front of us and according to the light expression we want to create in an image. Photography is all about light.
